Privacy Policy

Last updated 21 July 2026

WorshipConnect (“WorshipConnect”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a church management and engagement platform operated by Fortbridge Technologies Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and apps (the “Service”).

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to everyone who uses WorshipConnect — church administrators and staff, team and unit leaders, members, and visitors. Where a church uses WorshipConnect to manage its congregation, that church decides what member information is collected and how it is used within the app. In that context the church is the “controller” of its members’ information and WorshipConnect acts as a service provider (“processor”) that handles the information on the church’s behalf.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — your name, email address, password (stored in encrypted form), and role.
  • Church and member information — the details a church chooses to record, such as member names, contact details, attendance, groups and teams, service schedules, notes, and follow-up status.
  • Giving information — records of contributions made through the Service. Card and bank details are handled by our payment providers and are not stored by us.
  • Device and usage information — basic technical data such as device type, app version, log data, and, if you enable notifications, a push token.
  • Communications — messages you send us for support or enquiries.

3. How we use information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • To authenticate you and keep your account and church data secure.
  • To send transactional messages such as sign-in links, verification and password reset emails, and notifications you have opted into.
  • To process giving and keep contribution records for the relevant church.
  • To provide support and respond to your requests.
  • To improve reliability and performance, and to prevent abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Keeping churches separate

WorshipConnect is multi-tenant: each church’s information is logically isolated so that one church can never access another church’s people, giving, or records. A church’s information belongs to that church, and we process it only to provide the Service and on that church’s reasonable instructions.

5. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers that help us run the Service — for example cloud hosting, email delivery, and push-notification providers — under agreements that require them to protect the information.
  • Payment providers (such as Paystack) to process giving. Your payment details are provided directly to them and are governed by their privacy policies.
  • Within your church, with the administrators and leaders your church has authorised.
  • For legal reasons, where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
  • Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use only the cookies and local storage necessary to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as your light or dark theme), and keep the Service secure. We do not use advertising cookies.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, encrypted storage of sensitive values, and strict access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.

8. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as your account or your church’s account is active, and as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it. A church may request export or deletion of its data.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your information in the app. For member information held by a church, please contact that church, or contact us and we will assist. To exercise a right, email us at hello@worshipconnect.net.

10. Children

The Service is intended for use by churches and their leaders. Where a church records information about children as part of its ministry, it does so under its own responsibility and with the appropriate consents. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children without such involvement.

11. International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we do, we take steps to ensure your information receives an appropriate level of protection.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.

13. Contact us
